We believe that, besides giving back to the future generations a planet in good shape, they will be themselves agents of change: they will have to continue the task of repairing the damage we have been making for centuries.
For that reason, education activities for youth and kids are key to the success of our work.

Knowledge is key to action and decision making.Thus, through scientific research, we fill in the gaps of knowledge, and provide the ground to science-based management. Additionally, we provide contents to other areas, such as Environmental Education and Ausio-visual Communication.

Coexistence is possible!
Human-wildlife conflicts are the main threat of felids worldwide. Through management, strategic use of technologies and working with the local communities, it is possible to achieve harmonious coexistence between humans and wild carnivores.

Knowing the past to protect the present
Zooarchaeology is an useful tool to characterize past ecosystems, this information allows us to comprehend human impact over time and provide reference data to guide modern efforts in conservation and ecosystem restoration informed in past configurations.

Education and outreach are a key component of our work: successfully communicate the reality of wildlife to the general public is essential to generate positive changes in both individual and social behavior.


WILDLIFE RESCUE AND REHABILITATION
From animal rescue to release into the wild.
Our cross-disciplinary team, directed by Tomás Urrutia MV, , rescues, rehabilitate and release back into the wild, wild animals that are wounded, hurt or have been confiscated by the wildlife authorities from ilegal possession or traffic.
